Come to our farm Tuesday, October 21 for an in-person intensive on how to grow tulips and other bulbs (hyacinth, muscari, etc) for winter sales.

Learn from us as we go into our 8th season of forcing flowers in winter!

We will gather in our heated greenhouse to discuss the practicalities of forcing bulbs for cutting in the winter. (Don’t have a greenhouse? I will tell you how we did this for three years without a greenhouse!)

This intensive will include:

A guided tour of our operation, showing you our system and infrastructure
Detailed discussion around tulip planting, cold storage, variety selection, water, lights, and pricing.
How I force hyacinth, muscari, and freesia
Paper handouts detailing our process
Time to mingle and meet other growers
The opportunity to purchase bulbs from us
Local food refreshments (let us know on the form about any allergies)
Free parking for approx 6-8 vehicles- please carpool if possible
